William "Bill" Hoyt - played by writer/actor Ben Schwartz - is an agent working with the Blooms under Carlton Shaw. Hoyt idolizes Steven Bloom as somewhat of a hero figure.

A junior field agent who practically majored in Steven Bloom's file at The Farm, Hoyt's duties on assignment range from supplying disguises to decoding complex algorithms. He loves gadgets and hacking, but nothing thrills him more than working alongside his idol, Steven Bloom even if Samantha does get in the way sometimes.
